Barkhor Academy was founded on October 15th, 2025, at a turning point for connectivity in South Sudan. The arrival of satellite internet through Starlink made reliable, high-speed access possible in places that had never had it before — and with that door open, we saw the chance to bring a world-class educational system to South Sudan. We're building the platform to make the most of that opportunity, so that quality technical education is no longer limited by distance, infrastructure, or where a learner happens to live.
